Overview of Research Activities

Since the beginning of my PhD studies and up to now, I have focused my efforts towards addressing the problems of autonomous navigation and operation of aerial robots. My research encompass several fields and the most important contributions are summarized below. For the years to come, I plan to focus on achieving true navigational and operational autonomy as well as physical work-task execution capacity for aerial robotics. At the same time, I plan to integrate such robots into a greater framework with robot systems of different class as well as human co-workers or users.
